First real blog post on the new site

It's time I put in a real blog entry.

I created this site. Now I have somewhere to put things I want to say that isn't facebook and isn't bluesky (have to be short) and I can post a link to the blogpost. Yay.

Facebook is a place run by a billionaire. X/Twitter.. nope, same thing except worse. BlueSky is good, and probaby my primary outward facing thing going forward, but I can be kind of wordy.

Not sure I'm going to be too wordy today because I just want to test this thing. Is this thing on?
